This cover is even better! What a cool design to begin with and the execution of the idea is amazing. I like the background colors and the way you've used that color to blend in to parts of the hair and face. Did you paint this with the binding on or somehow manage to get unbound books and then paint the cover separate?

Also, did you use acrylics and ink, or another medium? I love the texture on this baby. Way to go! I want one of these!

Thank you both for your comments. As to your question leftoverjoe; I made a pencil drawing, and than did acyrlic layers, and than put a gloss varnish on it for effect. I showed it to you all in a more unfinished stage and now I think I overworked it. Sucks when I do that....
