the last (well, not really the last) hoorah pt. 2

How to pack a cat

The time has come folks... Mary and I are hi-tailin' it out of San Francisco and Chicago bound in a day!
There was a little snafu with some of the other images I wanted to post, so it'll have to wait till we get settled.
Thanks for all your comments, there highly appreciated and have been a great impetus for me to continue this little blog project.

Special thanks goes out to the Lord of blogging, for without him we would be but primitive cave dwellers, making funny marks on stones.

More special thanks goes to Lane and Sutter. It was because of them that I had come out of my hiding in the first place.

Please check back in about 2 - 4 weeks. I'll have a new, shiny scanner of my own for personal use, as well as all the stuff I will have done in the interim to show you all.

Thanks & Goodnight.

This is quite a nifty little blog you've got here. I just started one myself (I mean JUST started), but so far, it's going pretty...umm...well, it's goin'. I hope it's as good as yours someday! Keep up the great work!

Your art is amazing. I am in envy of what talent you have. Never stop drawing. If people like you stopped doing what they were good at, a society such as ours would crumble.

You made my day just a little more amazing.

Great works you have here. Congrats. I would appreciate if you checked my blog and leave any comment ( by the way, it's in spanish but the images are what really talk about it)

Love your work, you are an excellent draughtsman. Strong line and tone.
Also love the cat in a box....what is it with cats and boxes...and for that matter, artists and cats?!
Cats and artists just seem to be drawn, (no pun intended!) to each other.
Drop by my site if you get time.

Wow...I am totally inspired to bring out my sketchbook again and draw. I just happened upon your blog and wanted to comment that it was cool. I just started doing this and was totally blown away by the talent of these people (Yourself definitely included!) I am challenged to make mine more interesting-thanks!! Keep us posted on the move to chicago-by the way...moving from warm CA to IL?? (I grew up in Illinois and now reside in Wisconsin) Are you crazy?? Lisa Marie

Chicago huh? I live near there. Do not forget to bring your long undies and bathing suit! The weather here is a bit crazy currently. Good luck with the move!

Two to four weeks, huh. It oughta just give me enough time to catch up with this blog. Love your artwork (and your cat -- who wouldn't love that carton so much if that was the mode of transportation).

Have a safe trip.

Like the disguise, half a profile, very clever idea...maybe I should do that on my blog?

So how much did you pay blogspot to advertise your blog on the 'Blogs of note' column?

Only joking, great blog and I really love the fat, happy cat piccie. Keep it up!

Good effort young man.
I particularly like the sketch book cover paintings.
I don't do exactly the same kind of stuff, but you might want to have a quick look at mine. A bit like you I use it as a manageable portfolio.
Good to see a blog that isn't just full of ramblings!

PLease more art and less text. Artistically you have a minor talent: technically fluent and quirky - unfortunately your obsessiveness tends to come to the fore (see eg the over-entwined tendrils in wolf in a man suit) and this is confirmed in your text: self-indulgent, anally-fixated and naive. Get a life. Or, get parachuted into Rwanda - or some other gesture that will ensure a least a modicum of growing-up. As for the rest: you are a fine artist - continuez.
